Playback theatre, based on the stories of audience members enacted on the spot, promotes the right for any voice to be heard, brings group concerns to the surface, and stimulates a dialogue by making different perspectives visible. Excellence in playback theatre demands skills in performance, social interaction and the practice of ritual. In this workshop, we will explore the nuts and bolts of Playback, learn ways to build community, and experience the power and impact of Playback from both the audience and performer perspective. Participation is limited to 15. Please wear clothes you can move in and soft-soled shoes.
